Dendrobium Alliance

Dendrobium Alliance is still under study

Many classify the 42 sections and additional genera, while others lump them all together. Since many sections within the group don't interbreed, it is only accurate that they are not genetically close enough to be within the same subtribe, let alone the same genus.

Dendrobiums

Dendrobiums are one of the largest genus in the orchid family with 42 sections.

With 42 sections in the genus, Dendrobiums are a very large group of orchids.

For more information on how to grow them

Please visit the Dendrobium species website. Support if you can. It had a lot of wonderful information on how to grow the different sections.
